October 23rd, to October 28th, 2023
In Mo'orea, The Islands of Tahiti / French Polynesia
'ia ora na e maeva, welcome!
Thank you for being here!
"SACRED LIFE" is an invitation to get out of the noise within and without and connect to the sanctuary of our heart.
Rooted in sacred ancestral wisdom, knowledge and practices, “Sacred Life” has been created from my passion for yoga and the islands that I call hOMe, our history and in gratitude for those who have walked the path before us and with us.
Our ancestors knew… Because they listened to the whispers of the wind, the chant of the ocean and the waterfalls, the twinkles of the stars in the sky. They had mastered the art of dancing with Nature to ride the wave of Life. They were living in perfect tune with Paparaharaha, Mother Earth, honoring and attuning to her cycles. I am grateful for the transmissions that have traveled through time to bring us, in these modern days, the wisdom and knowledge.
In today's world that has become disconnected from what truly matters, where greed and control have replaced the song of the heart and deep nourishment, creating suffering, separation, stress and dis-eases, it is time to recreate magic and miracles in our lives... To recharge if you feel depleted, to breathe if you feel stuck, to connect if you feel lonely...
So this is our hand reaching out to yours, to ioin us and… Release. Transform. Expand.
Join us to re-ignite your inner fire and dance in the Bliss of Life. Join us to find your way back to Sacred Living.
It is on the majestic land of Mo'orea, in the Islands of Tahiti, that we will gather, from October 23rd, to October 28th, 2023, right before Mother Moon comes into her fullness... so what a potent time it will be!
Are you ready for it?
The island
The island of Mo'orea is located a 30-minute fast ferry ride from the island of Tahiti. Mo'orea is shaped like a heart from above. To us, she is one of the most feminine islands... Mou'a Puta or the Pierced Mountain rises high towards the sky, and its silhouette resembles that of a woman, face up to the heavenly realms, hair cascading down into the lush valley.
Life on Mo'orea is quaint and serene. Abundant valleys, high peaks, pristine beaches and crystal-clear cerulean lagoon, Mo'orea is a poetic escape, a soothing, nurturing sanctuary and an invitation to slow down and smell the flowers.
The villa
The villa is comprised of 2 spacious dormitories and adjoining spacious bathrooms with hot water, a vast main living area and a huge wooden deck with stunning views of the ocean and the mountains. Sunrises at Urufara are quite amazing and nights under the lit skies will make you want to sleep outside :-) (Many participants do!)
Some A-frame single or double huts are also available.
The main plateau where the villa stands is treated against mosquitoes for everyone' comfort.
The extent of the property allows for some beautiful walks in nature. A river flows through a forest of magnificent Tahitian chesnut trees - mape - and stones.
At Villa Urufara, fresh produce from the garden or local farmers are used as much as possible in the menus.
In this heavenly temple, we come into the symphony of the Whole.

Located on the magnificent island of Mo'orea, a 30-minute crossing by boat from Tahiti, Villa Urufara is a gem nestled in the sacred mountains of Opunohu Bay. There, we are alone on a 103-acre sanctuary where life and nature abound.
The property was the former home and plantation of some American pioneers who played a key role in developing tourism in the islands. Urufara was where they grew all the fresh produce for the hotel they managed on the island.
As the story kept unfolding, a time came when the property was abandoned... until a young Tahitian couple purchased it with the vision to create a place where families, schools, communities would come together, supported by a rich environment.
Villa Urufara was reborn just before covid. Kids camp, nature immersions, personal growth bootcamps and yoga retreats pace the days at Urufara.
Amidst the mountains, surrounded by the nurturing embrace of the sacred peaks all around, Urufara invites us to drop the weapons, get out of the head and drop into the sweet nectar of the heart. We attune to the song of Nature and we remember what it means to Live Sacred.
Rivers, ancient sacred stone temples, forests of tall trees where the whispers of our ancestors still resonate... Views that connect us to the immensity and infinity... from the earth to the stars. We expand, we merge... part of this big theatre of Life.
I was born and raised in Tahiti.
Rani means the sky and the heavenly realms in Polynesian… And have this life given me the opportunity to fly and fly and explore! It led me to incredible places and I was blessed to live in a few different countries.
I worked in the travel and hospitality industry for most of my career. I worked… A lot!
My life was spent between planes, airports, hotel rooms, taxis, constant jetlag, and endless hours on wifi.
It may see glamourous… But traveling for work is not quite your fun vacation escape.
My life was work, work, work and I was all into it! The pressure, the stress, the challenges. I gave it my all - classic over-achiever. I just kept pushing.
But by pushing without listening to yourself, one day, you wake up to the unpleasant reality that you can’t anymore…
● The stress and immense fatigue took over.
● I started getting sick — a lot.
● I was drained and close to burnout.
But I caught myself at that moment.
I decided to take more time for myself, to reconnect, and re-center...
Long story short, yoga changed my life, in unexpected ways. And since then, it has been such an epic ride!
Fast forward to this day, I live and share yoga with the mighty mission to lead beings who feel called to back to their power and living a more conscious and harmonious life. I created Ipuāni Yoga & Lifestyle from a humble heart to serve and empower others.
There are encounters that leave a deep imprint on your heart, that inspire you to learn, explore, grow and reconnect with forgotten stories, wounds, and ultimately your roots.
I believe that changing the world starts with oneself and understanding who we are and where we come from.
It is in India, at the Sattva Yoga Academy founded by Evolutionary Spiritual Master Anand Mehrotra, that I was trained and initiated to the powerful teachings of Himalayan Kundalini and Kriya Yoga. A unique and potent blend of asanas (movement medecine), pranayama (breath mastery), Himalayan kundalini kriyas (from the tantric tradition), naad (understanding and use of sound as a tool for transformation and healing), meditation (different techniques), freedom movement, these modalities allow to create space for liberation, healing and expansion.
In one of the Polynesian’s dialect, Ipuāni means the matrix or container holding the heavens, the divine realms and the infinite light.
Leading from the heart, I invite you to ride the wave of ancestral wisdom and practices and find your way hOMe to wholeness and sacredness.
A Sattva Master Yoga Teacher and Ayurveda coach, each inner journey I offer through Ipuāni Yoga & Lifestyle is a dance between the profound yoga teachings and rituals from my indigenous roots.
Together, let’s ignite the fire of transformation, the light of compassion, pure love and joy within.
In love and grace, to the brilliant light that you are,
Rani
Mauru'uru! Namaste! Hope to see you in Tahiti :-)
